Merrowvista

Today we made an epic trek up to the "lakes district" to visit the Hipples in their new life. Ethan is the director of Camp Merrowvista, so the family now summers in a cabin on the camp grounds on Dan Hole Pond, the deepest lake in NH. Tasha and Jackson go to "Dinky Camp" all day (two counselors hired specifically to take care of staff children), Ethan works from 6:45 am till 9:45 pm, and Sarah continues to commute over an hour to her cook clients. The kids are loving it... The adults are not entirely convinced this lifestyle is sustainable. It is an exquisite camp, steeped in tradition and money, just as you might imagine summer camp if you had never been. Despite missing her nap in the car, Josie stayed awake for the entire tour. She then rallied for her break dancing lesson with Jackson. She has the worm and the moon crawl down pat.
