Cinco de Mayo

This evening we loaded up the bike trailer for the first time. Josie seemed willing to go along for the ride, but was not too happy about it. Jasper loved every second of the trip, especially the stop for ice cream in the middle. We swung by the Mexican restaurant for free hats and a live steel drum band from the high school. The ice cream was one of many rewards for being a VERY BRAVE boy when we went to have blood drawn this morning. Jasper didn't flinch until the needle was in his arm. Josie just grunted once. Not a peep or tear. Peter and I left the clinic feeling very proud of our kids. In a few days we should know the lead damage to date. Work on the room plugs along. At this rate they may not move in before it's time to head off to college.
