Happy Valentine's Day! Today Jasper had a valentine's party at school. I think he consumed 100 grams of sugar in various forms. He got several valentines, his favorites of which had pictures of "venom" from Spiderman on them. He had a blast. Josie and I shared a coffee and scone at our favorite cafe and did the grocery shopping. This evening I made borsch for Peter, with a single beet in the middle carved in the shape of a heart. I wooed him with this dish over ten years ago. Then Jasper and I had a "date" to see the musical at my elementary school. He was transfixed, particularly by the revival of Godspell. Peter stayed at home and had a "date" with Josie, during which she screamed bloody murder because apparently the regridgerator had left the building.
