It rained most of the weekend, saturating New Hampshire soil and threatening floods across the state. We went up to Tuftonboro on Friday night for a debate party at the Hipples. Jasper got another "sleep over party," so he was on cloud nine. Saturday we went to the Children's Museum of NH and then to see Peter's brother, Xander, play football at Exeter in a hurricane. The risers provided entertaining rivulets for splashing. On the way home I dropped off Peter at Bear Brook State Park for "Man Scout Night," his own sleep over party with "The Men." He did not return until 11 am this morning, at which point he needed to retreat promptly to bed where he stayed for most of the day. I guess the Men are getting older and not up to their old antics.
