Big Head

Peter dutifully took the morning off of work, drove the 75 minutes west to Lebanon, NH, navigated the behemoth Dartmouth-Hitchcock HMO, crawled into the MRI machine with a wailing Josie (whose head was pinned in a small cage), sang to her while the magnetic machinery clanked and throbbed, met with the condecending neurosurgeon who answered none of his questions, and drove home while feeding Josie a lunch of tofu and bananas in the back seat. Josie is fine. Big head with nothing but brains inside. Not that we had any doubts, but I guess we feel better having the pictures to prove it. While they were on this epic adventure, I discussed multiplication arrays with ten year olds and Jasper played with marbles at East Side. Not a bad day, all in all.
