Rollin Right Along

Josie is still a few months away from bipedalism, but she has recently taken to her plastic quadricycle. She can really get up some speed, especially with a little help from her big brother.

We walked downtown to the farmer's market this morning. After gathering our produce, we met up with Pablo and Erica on the Statehouse lawn. Within a half hour there was a horde of about ten children we know from around town swinging from the ornamental apple tree, while we caught up with their parents who we haven't seen all summer. Meanwhile a veteran's rally in commemoration of 9-11 gathered on the capitol steps, including a dozen or so Harley's. The kids were enthralled. At one point we had to track down Jasper and Pablo who had snuck off behind some bushes to get a closer look at an excavator. Erica arrived just in time to hear Pablo saying, "You wanna get in the bucket, Jasper?" And Jasper replying, "I don't think that's a good idea, Pablo." Good boy, Jasper.
