Denia arrived safely after more than 16 hours of travel on Friday morning. Despite having stolen only 3 hours of sleep on the train, she immediately set in to cleaning, holding Josie, reading to Jasper, helping with dinner, as well as counseling me on every aspect of life (in Spanish). An absolute Godsend.

We packed up the car and headed out to Tuftonboro yesterday for a "sleep over party" with the Hipples. Jasper aged three years over night. They raged as they always do, the invincible three some. Tasha is patiently waiting for the day that Josie can follow her around and play house, and for the moment contents herself with holding her as much as I will allow. The adults relaxed last night and then spent the majority of today working on installing their new kitchen, top to bottom (or really bottom to top). Denia and I made our contributions to the home renovations by taking the kids to see "Horton Hears a Who" at the movie theater in Meredith. The vulture, Vlad, was by far the scariest, and therefor Jasper's favorite, part.

It's still so fun to see the name Jasper in print.
Hope you are doing well, Jessica.
Your life sounds full.
