Our Wonderful One!

A year ago today Josie made her grand entrance into our lives. It’s overwhelming to think about all that can happen to a human being in a year, especially a baby one. 

In that time she has more than tripled in size, become mobile, begun to babble, grown ten teeth (plus a teeny bit of hair), and dramatically transformed the lives of her parents and big brother. She celebrated the day by having a great time at “school” where she barely cried, devouring a huge helping of vanilla yogurt with frozen blueberries for dessert, and opening some exceptional presents (she especially appreciated the wrapping paper). Jasper’s gift to her was a vicious bite on the finger which set her off crying for fifteen minutes. Everyone was put to bed with tear stained cheeks and without books or songs. Alas. Sibling rivalry begins in earnest.
