We started putting up the tree last night and both kids thought it was amazing. Josie couldn't take her eyes off the lights, and Jasper couldn't keep his hands off of them. We played The Nutcracker (as is Peter's tradition), drank hot chocolate, and read The Night Before Christmas by the light of the tree. Living this far north, I understand why people put up Christmas decorations in November and take them down in March. It makes the darkness a smidge less depressing!
