I am sad not to be a part of the endless fun that is occurring at Plum Island this week. Long days in the sun and surf, napping, playing, drinking, feasting, spending quality time with friends and family. However, it has been a godsend to be childless and husbandless this week. Teaching is truly a full time/body/soul job, so it is good to have the space to do just and only that for a few days. Next week we can throw in making lunches, drop offs, pick ups, making meals, bedtime routine, etc. Although looking at the pictures from all their adventures, it's hard not to feel jealous. Tomorrow, thank God, is Friday!
